Mindray (Shenzhen, China) showcased its range of in-vitro diagnostic products at MEDLAB 2020, including its CAL 6000 Cellular Analysis Line, SAL 9000 Modular System, CL-900i Chemiluminescence lmmunoassay System and BC-5150 Auto Hematology Analyzer.
Over 25,800 medical laboratory industry professionals and 600 exhibitors from 35 countries met in Dubai for MEDLAB Middle East, the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region’s largest medical laboratory exhibition and congress, which took place from 3-6 February 2020 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
At this year’s MEDLAB, Mindray showcased its CAL 6000 Cellular Analysis Line which combine two units of BC-6000 or BC-6200 auto hematology analyzers and one unit of SC-120 to deliver a throughput of up to 220 tests per hour and 120 slides per hour. The CAL 6000 is equipped with three loading platforms and three unloading platforms with large capacities. The bidirectional loading track, with patent technology, on the first hematology analyzer enables fast sample distribution, improving efficiency and productivity. Should the sample results trigger the criteria, the autoloader of each hematology analyzer will return the sample racks for automatic rerun or reflex check.
Mindray also presented its SAL 9000 Modular System which delivers high throughputs of chemistry and immunoassay testing by integrating its BS-2000 Chemistry Analyzer and CL-6000i Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer, and new Sample Processing System SPL 2000. With patented automatic serum analysis design, SAL 9000 helps optimize the management of lab space and manpower, and also offers highly reliable test results.
Additionally, Mindray showcased the CL-900i, one of the world’s smallest, fully automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers, that integrates a large capacity and fast assay speed into a compact model, achieving a perfect balance between size and immunoassay testing performance. The CL-900i has a throughput of up to 180 tests/hour, and offers 50 sample positions and 15 reagent positions.
At MEDLAB Middle East, Mindray exhibited the BC-5150 Auto Hematology Analyzer which is especially tailored to assist diagnostic labs that need full CBC + 5-part results, with relatively low daily sample volume, restricted lab space and tight budget. As the lightest and most compact 5-part hematology analyzer so far from Mindray, BC-5150 is a highly user-friendly and innovative, offering cost-efficient CBC and 5-part white cell differential results.
