Sysmex Showcases Latest Laboratory Innovations and Technologies
By LabMedica International staff writers Posted on 04 Feb 2025 |
Sysmex (Kobe, Japan) is participating at Medlab Middle East 2025 as a platinum sponsor where the company is showcasing its latest laboratory innovations and technologies and also hosting workshops.
At the 2025 edition of Medlab Middle East, Sysmex is highlighting BloodScience Workcell, its novel laboratory automation concept which smartly combines hematology and hemostasis testing in one interdisciplinary solution – to support physicians in obtaining a more holistic picture of their patients and to improve the workflow in the laboratory. BloodScience Workcell consolidates the workflow automation of EDTA and citrate blood sample tubes by combining hematology automation lines, XR-9000 or XN-9100, with the new CN track for hemostasis. Also featured is the UN-Series of urinalysis solutions which can automate a lab’s urinalysis work area according to required workflow preferences. With modular components to mix and match, labs can tailor a complete solution that is scalable to their current and future needs, providing a perfect fit and a secure investment.
Sysmex is also showcasing its comprehensive line of IVD flow cytometry products, headlined by the advanced PS-10 sample preparation system and the XF-1600 flow cytometer, in addition to an extensive portfolio of monoclonal antibodies and consumables. Sysmex is demonstrating CyFlow WA, its innovative Work Area Manager (WAM) software, which is the key to a smartly connected modern clinical flow cytometry lab. It integrates seamlessly with existing Sysmex lab equipment, acting as a powerful middleware solution bridging hematology and clinical flow cytometry data analysis.
Among its other solutions, Sysmex is showcasing HISCL-800, the latest addition to its HISCL family of automated immunoassay systems. The unique features of HISCL-800 include fast reaction time with throughput of up to 100 tests per hour, delivering highly sensitive and specific clinical results with small footprint, making it an ideal partner for small and medium-sized laboratories. With a fast reaction time for every parameter, it takes 17 mins to get the first test result. The HISCL-800’s rapid analysis enables laboratories to meet their reporting objectives, especially for STAT samples. Visitors to the Sysmex booth can also view digital displays of its cancer diagnostic solutions for breast cancer and colorectal cancer.
