Erba Introduces XL Range of Fully Automated Clinical Chemistry Systems at Medlab Middle East 2023
By LabMedica International staff writers Posted on 08 Feb 2023 |

Erba Mannheim (London, UK) is introducing its latest XL range of fully automated clinical chemistry systems at the 22nd edition of Medlab Middle East Congress taking place live, in-person from 6-9 February 2023.
At Medlab Middle East 2023, Erba is showcasing the XL range of four fully automated clinical chemistry systems that incorporate state-of-the-art features. These rugged and performance-oriented systems boost lab productivity and throughput, making them an essential part of any start-up, medium or advanced lab. They support a wide test menu spanning routine clinical chemistry, electrolytes, immunoassays and coagulation tests. The XL range includes the XL 1000 fully automated clinical chemistry analyzer that guarantees high resolution measurement with automatic sample conveyor for comfortable workflow in laboratories with high sample throughput. It also includes the XL 200 fully automated random access clinical chemistry analyzer having a throughput of 200 tests/hr (photometric test) and 400 tests/hr with ISE (Na/K/Cl/Li). Also part of the XL range is the XL 640 fully automated biochemistry analyzer with a throughput of 640 tests per hour that is powerful and robust enough to keep up with the heavy demands of everyday testing, as well as the XL 180 that is designed to give convenience and flexibility in operation and good quality reporting for small and medium-sized laboratories.
From its hematology line, Erba is highlighting the H360 automated 3-part differential hematology analyzer that can be used as a complete blood count analyzer by small laboratories or as a second instrument. Within its coagulation line, Erba is showcasing the ECL 105 single channel semi-automated system for small laboratories that performs measurements of all clotting assays as well as DDimer. With a color touch-screen and intuitive user interface, the ECL-105 is simple to use and ensures quality results. Also featuring at the show is the LAURA Smart urine strip reader which is an efficient and compact solution for routine chemical urinalysis. The equipment's semi-automatic technology facilitates the sample process, contributing to the correct diagnosis of patients. In addition, Erba is presenting the EC90 electrolyte analyzer featuring clean biosensor and maintenance-free technology. Designed for easy use, efficient operation and reliability, the EC90 has an analysis time of only 35 seconds.
