Awareness Technology, Inc. (Palm City, FL, USA) is demonstrating its updated Stat Fax 4500 and 4700 microwell strip readers at the 2022 AACC Clinical Lab Expo.

Following the updates to the Stat Fax 4500 and Stat Fax 4700 microwell strip readers, their new interface now features a high resolution backlit display with a capacitive touch screen. The responsiveness is similar to that of a smartphone and there is no need for a stylus to make accurate selections. The screens are updated almost instantly. The new menu system is now driven by icons designed to intuitively identify their functions. The sub-menus also offer several interface improvements, including the option to change the language from English to Spanish at the press of a button. At the heart of the Stat Fax 4500 and 4700 is a new and faster micro-processor and significantly increased memory capacity. All the calculation modes, reporting functions, and the ability to customize test parameters remain the same but now function faster. A new feature of their improved memory capacity is the ability to not only store over 100 programmed tests but also store over 500 results.

At AACC 2022, Awareness Technology will also display the ChemWell 2 Automated ELISA/Chemiluminescent analyzer that offers a two plate solution for running a variety of applications. The ability to mix a wide range of ELISA/CLIA assays on two microwell plates provides a high level of flexibility that makes the ChemWell 2 an excellent choice for laboratories looking to purchase their next analyzer.
