New AI-Powered System Aims to Streamline Laboratory and Manufacturing Workflows

Scientific laboratories supporting drug development, biotechnology, and materials research increasingly rely on coordinated digital workflows to move data, samples, and activities across teams. Fragmented systems and manual handoffs can slow progress, especially as work moves from research and development to manufacturing. A new system now connects and orchestrates scientific workflows from discovery through manufacturing in a single digital environment.

Revvity, Inc. (Waltham, MA, USA) has launched Signals LabGistics, an AI-first scientific workflow orchestration solution from its Revvity Signals Software business. The solution is designed to connect and coordinate processes, workflows, and tasks from discovery to manufacturing. It is intended for organizations working across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty chemical, and materials science environments.

Signals LabGistics uses AI-powered workflow design to translate natural-language descriptions and standard operating procedures into coordinated scientific workflows. The system provides an orchestration layer that helps connect teams, systems, and processes so workflows can be executed more consistently. By linking real-time data and insights in a single digital environment, the solution is designed to support contextualized decision-making and continuous improvement of scientific processes.

The solution operates within the broader Revvity Signals Software ecosystem and is designed to work with existing laboratory and manufacturing platforms. It is also intended to extend to adjacent systems over time. Multi-tier execution and real-time monitoring capabilities are intended to improve information, sample, and activity flow across independent teams, while helping scientists and managers monitor workflow status, identify emerging bottlenecks, and respond before delays affect broader development timelines.

Signals LabGistics also includes flexible compliance and quality capabilities tailored to industry requirements. These capabilities can support pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations that need to maintain GxP compliance across connected environments, as well as specialty chemicals and materials science companies seeking to minimize additional regulatory overhead. Signals LabGistics is expected to be available in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan in December 2026.

“Scientific innovation is increasingly dependent on the ability to coordinate work across people, systems and stages of development. Our Signals LabGistics offering brings those moving parts together and helps organizations move promising therapies and new products forward with greater speed, consistency and confidence,” said Kevin Willoe, president of Revvity Signals Software.
