A series of nine models of laboratory balances is capable of monitoring its ambient conditions automatically, which helps to prevent handling errors and increases the products’ reliability.Posted on 16 Jul 2013
The weighing capacities of the balance series, which encompasses nine models, range from 120 to 5,100 g with a readability of 0.1 to 10 mg. Whenever an error occurs during weighing, the balance identifies the uncertain results and blocks their transmission. This decreases the likelihood of process errors in the laboratory.

Called Secura, the Sartorius (Gottingen, Germany) system is equipped with an electronic LevelControl sensor for balance leveling, ensuring accurate results. If the system detects any issues of non-compliance, it is displayed and the system blocks reading output. Additionally, the built-in isoCAL system detects any minor temperature fluctuations and can automatically adjust itself using internal weights.
The user interface has been designed so that the touch screen feature represents an “easy-to-launch” platform and only displays the information necessary to a particular operation.
In addition, the new operating concept of Secura will noticeably ease the daily workload during weighing and, its Advanced Pharma Compliance (APC) function will relieve the user from tedious and time-consuming documentation and monitoring tasks.
