A refrigerated incubator cools without a compressor or refrigerant and is therefore quiet with an extremely low vibration level.

The new KT 115 refrigerated incubator from Binder (Tuttlingen, Germany) is equipped with an energy-efficient Peltier element. With its comprehensive program functions, the new all-rounder for incubating biological material offers a wide range of capabilities and guarantees reproducible results.

The usable chamber has a volume of 104 liters; the unit can be used for temperatures from 4 °C and can be decontaminated at its maximum temperature of 100 °C. In contrast to a compressor, Peltier technology used exclusively for cooling, is silent, vibration free, and reduces energy consumption significantly. The KT 115 applies conventional heating technology.

The APT.line preheating technology ensures homogenous temperature conditions, as well as rapid heating and recovery times. The horizontal airflow from both sides of the chamber in the new KT 115 ensures uniform temperature distribution, even when fully loaded. Effective and gentle incubation is ensured in conjunction with its digital temperature setting that is accurate to a tenth of a degree
