Programmable Peristaltic Pump Makes Dispensing Easy

A programmable peristaltic pump makes the dispensing of culture media, buffers, and other solutions easy and efficient.

The pump, called Dose It, is ideal for laboratories where several different dispensing protocols are frequently used. The pump head accommodates different tubing sizes (1-8 mm) so that a wide range of volumes can be dispensed with speed and precision. The dispensed volume can range from 100 µL to several liters; typical applications include filling tubes with liquid broth, pouring agar plates, filling bottles with buffers, or aliquoting stock solutions. The flow rate can be doubled with a second pump head, a modification that also reduces flow pulsation.

An intuitive and multilingual user interface coupled with a large display makes it extremely simple to program and operate the Dose It. Twenty different dosing protocols can be saved and recalled by pressing a button. All features are provided to support the individual needs in quality control. Relevant information can be documented using a standard label printer or by directly transferring the information to a personal computer.

With its very small footprint and light weight the DOSE IT fits everywhere in the lab and can be moved easily. The smooth and rounded surface makes it easy to clean. The position of the pump head and of the display and keypad is optimal for ergonomic working.

Dose-It is a product of Integra Biosciences AG.
