bioMérieux Showcases Latest Diagnostic Innovations at ADLM 2026

bioMérieux is participating in the Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine (ADLM) 2026 Annual Conference & Clinical Lab Expo, taking place July 26–30 in Anaheim, California. At booth 2501 in Hall B, the company is presenting diagnostic technologies spanning clinical microbiology, molecular diagnostics, immunoassays, laboratory informatics, and point-of-care testing.

Under the theme “A legacy of diagnostic leadership. Your partner for what’s ahead,” bioMérieux is highlighting an end-to-end laboratory ecosystem designed to connect diagnostic testing, automation, data management, and antimicrobial stewardship. The company is demonstrating how these integrated solutions can help laboratories improve operational efficiency, accelerate clinical decision-making, and support patient care.

Among the featured molecular diagnostic platforms is the BIOFIRE FILMARRAY TORCH System, which uses PCR technology to test for broad groups of infectious disease targets in approximately one hour. bioMérieux is also showcasing the BIOFIRE SPOTFIRE System, a multiplex molecular platform developed to bring syndromic infectious disease testing closer to patients in point-of-care settings.

The company’s microbiology portfolio at the event includes the VITEK MS PRIME system, which uses mass spectrometry for routine microbial identification. The system is designed to help clinical laboratories rapidly identify bacteria, yeasts, and other microorganisms as part of infectious disease diagnostic workflows.

bioMérieux is additionally featuring the VIDAS 3, an automated benchtop immunoassay platform designed to perform single-patient and batch testing. The system combines automated sample processing with a broad assay menu for applications including infectious diseases, emergency and critical care, immunochemistry, and reproductive health.

Visitors can also explore the company’s laboratory data and information technology solutions, as well as its laboratory consultancy services. These offerings are designed to help laboratories analyze workflows, optimize operations, improve outcomes, and advance digital transformation.

As part of its ADLM participation, bioMérieux is hosting two educational symposiums on July 28. “From Central Lab to POC: Rethinking Vaginitis Diagnostics,” scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 12:20 p.m. in Exhibit Hall Theater 2, examines current diagnostic limitations, the consequences of delayed results, and how point-of-care testing supports real-time clinical decision-making. “The Syndromic Standard: Explore the Clinical Impact of MPCR GI Panels for Gastroenteritis,” taking place from 2:45 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. in Exhibit Hall Theater 1, addresses recent developments in reducing diagnostic uncertainty, accelerating treatment, and improving patient outcomes.

The company is also holding a press conference and panel discussion on July 29 titled “The Power of Diagnostics: How Delays Impact Patients and Providers.” Representatives from bioMérieux, rural medicine, and patient advocacy are discussing how delayed or inaccurate diagnostic results affect patients, healthcare professionals, communities, and health systems, with particular attention to women, minority populations, and other underserved groups.
