The business-to-business electronic marketplace for scientific laboratory services, LabSeek (London, UK), has enhanced its process of matching scientists needing specific services with qualified labs that can do their work.Posted on 14 Mar 2001
The new site, to be launched in the spring, will provide users with more interactivity and expanded functionality by allowing customers to directly query LabSeek's online search engine for specific laboratory services, testing methods, and equipment. In addition, the new site will offer scientific news and information, including literature searches. LabSeek now has a base of 44 participating laboratories, including some of the largest R&D organizations in the world, including BP Amoco, Shell Chemical, and Philips.
"We're excited to offer scientists an easier and more efficient way to find and access qualified scientific laboratory resources, from research and problem-solving to analyses using standard published testing methods and scientific consulting,” said Todd Peterson, president and CEO of LabSeek.
