Mayo Clinic Laboratories and Pathology Asia Expand Genomic Testing Across Asia-Pacific

Mayo Clinic Laboratories and Pathology Asia Holdings (PAH), together with subsidiary LifeStrands Genomics, announced a strategic investment and collaboration focused on expanding access to advanced diagnostics and precision medicine across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The initiative builds on a long-term relationship that combines global clinical and diagnostic expertise with a broad regional laboratory network and local market knowledge. In certain markets, LifeStrands will operate as “LifeStrands in collaboration with Mayo Clinic Laboratories” to reflect the joint offering.

The collaboration centers on genomics delivered through LifeStrands Genomics. The parties plan to broaden access to advanced molecular and genomic testing with applications spanning identification of genetic conditions, risk assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. The goal is to enable healthcare providers to incorporate clinically relevant genomic findings into more personalized patient care across the region.

In support of clinical adoption, the organizations will pursue joint scientific initiatives, education, and thought leadership to help integrate genomics into care pathways. Pathology Asia provides pathology, molecular, and genomic testing through a network of internationally accredited laboratories operating across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Australia. LifeStrands Genomics comprises specialist laboratories in Singapore and Australia, along with DNA Laboratories, providing testing across oncology, reproductive health, inherited disorders, and wellness.
