Beckman Coulter Genomics Offers Sequencing Services

Beckman Coulter (Fullerton, CA, USA) has formed Beckman Coulter Genomics (Beverly, MA, USA), combining the operations of its Agencourt Bioscience business with Cogenics, a firm it recently purchased.

Beckman Coulter Genomics will offer scientists genomic service resources with expanded global capabilities. It will provide a variety of services including sequencing, sample preparation, genotyping, gene expression, biologic efficiency and safety testing, as well as support for regulatory compliance including Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). In addition, it will offer nucleic acid purification products, thus serving both the life-science and pharmaceutical industries.
