MRL Diagnostics (Herndon, VA, USA) has changed its name to Focus Technologies, Inc. An ISO 9001 certified company, Focus Technologies manufactures and distributes diagnostics test kits for rare and emerging diseases and is the developer of The Surveillance Network (TSN), the global antimicrobial surveillance database. Within the anti-infective pharmaceutical market, Focus has become established as a premier research partner. The new name, says the company, was chosen as part of a strategic move to unite its different business strengths in one entity.
