World Symposium on Genetics Analysis

Scientists from around the world are invited to the World Symposium on Genetics Analysis to be held September 11-14 in Big Sky, Montana. The event is focused on pharmacogenomics/pharmacogenetics and will feature presentations and case studies on designing clinical trials, on relating genetic markers to patient outcomes, and on novel techniques in genetic association analysis.Posted on 29 Aug 2002
The keynote speaker is Bruce Weir, Ph.D., professor of statistics and genetics and director of the Bioinformatics Research Center, North Carolina State University (Raleigh, USA). His talk "New Frontiers in Statistical Genetics” will set the stage for highlighting present and future challenges and opportunities in the science of genetic analysis.
There will also be time for hiking, rafting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
