International Biotech and Lab Automation (IBLA) Europe 2005 will take place in London (UK) on November 15-16. Many life science equipment companies will be coming together at IBLA to share their latest ideas and technologies. This free event is now well established on the life sciences calendar, showcasing the entire spectrum of laboratory equipment for life sciences R&D, from reagents to laboratory robotics.

Last year, IBLA attracted more than 2,000 attendees, from bench scientists to laboratory managers. This year attendance is expected to be even bigger. More than 120 of the leading suppliers in the life science industry will be exhibiting their products and services. IBLA provides visitors with an in-depth view of established firms alongside the latest new biotech companies. From antibody and cell culture technology to bioinformatics, robotics, and analytical instrumentation, IBLA has it all.

IBLA will offer an extensive range of activities, including educational seminars, workshops, and poster presentations--all to provide ideal networking, education, and deal-making opportunities. A Science in Practice award will again be offered. This free prize offers a U.S.$3,550 grant for the recipient to use for purchasing products or services offered by exhibitors. Under a hosted buyer program, free transport will be provided from selected UK science parks to the conference. Additional details on the meeting are available on the IBLA website.
