Grant Instruments Acquires 50% of Biosan

Following a successful three-year distribution partnership, Grant Instruments (Cambridge, UK) has acquired a 50% share of Biosan SIA (Riga, Latvia). Financial terms were not disclosed.Posted on 13 Mar 2005
Biosan has a well-established portfolio of innovative products for sample preparation in the fields of genomics, proteomics, and cellomics. The company offers more than 50 products for mixing, shaking, thermostating, cell cultivation, and DNA environmental protection. Grant is an independent, privately owned company, with a market-leading position in temperature-controlled laboratory equipment and data-logging systems.
