Posted on 13 Oct 2004
The Eighth European Biotechnology Crossroads will take place in Marseilles, October 27-29, 2004. More than 4,000 participants are expected, bringing together the key players in French biotech as well as important representation from the European and international biotech community. A series of new initiatives has been announced that are designed to create a stimulating business environment for delegates and companies.

The European Biotechnology Crossroads will include a three-day program of scientific conferences, Europe's second biggest annual trade show for biotech professionals, and a business convention that brings together European investors, businesses, start-ups, and legal experts. About 250 companies, from all over the world, will participate in the exhibition. In addition, a new offering this year will be the Fringe Festival, open to the general public for debate about the social implications of biotechnology.

More details and registration information are available online at the meeting's website (www.biomediterranee.com).
