Jiangsu Bioperfectus Technologies Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) is demonstrating its range of molecular diagnostic instruments and testing solutions for infectious diseases at the 2022 AACC Clinical Lab Expo, including its SAW-96 and SMPE-960 nucleic acid extraction systems, alongside the STC-96A and STC-96A PLUS real-time PCR systems.

The SAW-96 automated nucleic acid extraction workstation integrates cutting-edge mechanical, electronic, and software technologies. SAW-96 integrates sample loading, nucleic acid purification, and PCR setup functions in one instrument and has typical run duration of less than 70 minutes for 1-96 samples. Based on magnetic separation technology, SAW-96 provides high throughput automation combined with high performance. The SMPE-960 nucleic acid extraction system integrates cutting-edge mechanical, electronic and software technologies to enable automated extraction of nucleic acids from samples. Featuring a modular structure, the SMPE-960 can extract nucleic acids from 1-96 samples in three independently operating modules at the same time. Each module consists of 1-32 samples so that samples can be tested upon delivery.

The STC-96A and STC-96A PLUS real-time PCR systems offer stable performance and user-friendly design for molecular laboratories to identify viral and bacterial infections. In particular, the STC-96A Plus which is designed for real-time PCR analysis of gene expression and genetic variation allows two different PCR assays to be run on just one instrument with separate-controlled programs. Both the real-time PCR systems maintain a remarkable temperature uniformity of 0.1℃ across 96 wells, ensuring highly precise diagnostic results.

AT AACC 2022, Bioperfectus is also demonstrating its wide range of testing solutions for infectious diseases, including respiratory, sexually transmitted, vector-borne, gastrointestinal, and zoonotic. Among its respiratory infectious disease tests, Bioperfectus offers the COVID-19 Coronavirus real time PCR kit, COVID-19 Coronavirus (ORF1ab/N/E) real time PCR kit, Novel Corona Virus (SARS-CoV-2) Ag rapid test kit, Novel Corona Virus (SARS-CoV-2) IgM/IgG rapid test kit, Influenza A and B Viruses real time PCR kit, and COVID-19 Coronavirus and Influenza A/B Virus real time PCR kit. For sexually transmitted diseases, Bioperfectus offers the Human Papillomavirus Genotyping real time PCR kit, Neisseria Gonorrhoeae/Chlamydia Trachomatis/U. Urealyticum real time PCR kit and Chlamydia Trachomatis real time PCR kit, among others. In zoonotic diseases, Bioperfectus has recently launched the new Monkeypox Virus real time PCR kit based on real-time PCR technology. Specific primers and probes are designed based on F3L gene areas of the Monkeypox virus. In addition, the kit also contains a housekeeping gene (RNase P) as an internal control (IC) for specimen sampling and nucleic acid extraction.
